What is the purpose of HOA CC&Rs?
The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) is a legally binding document recorded in county land records. It establishes the rules, architectural standards, assessment obligations, and property rights that run with the land to maintain community value and appearance.
How do you change or amend the CC&Rs?
Amending CC&Rs is a formal process that typically requires a high level of member agreement. This template includes a standard amendment clause requiring an affirmative vote or written consent from two-thirds (2/3) of all voting members before updates are recorded with the county.
